Clarity Partners designed and developed a new and improved version of the Office of the City Clerk of Chicago’s (OCC) website and EZBuy web application that allows citizens to purchase vehicle stickers, daily parking passes, and register their dog online. Clarity created an interactive website with a responsive design that integrates with the Clerk’s existing systems and purchasing application.
Chicago residents can now enjoy a more user-friendly website and web application that is formatted for all connected devices. Registered users can update their personal information online while the OCC staff is able to update website content through a content management system, which will allow more control and less delay for maintaining up-to-date information.
In addition to design and development, Clarity also created a website communications, service delivery strategy, and governance model that encourages Chicago residents to use the OCC website and communicate with OCC staff online. Security was one of Clarity’s highest priorities with efforts to protect private information and safely store data.
About the Office of the City Clerk of Chicago
The Chicago Office of the City Clerk of Chicago is the most visited office in Chicago government. It provides residents with the City’s official records, namely the City Council legislation as well as laws, records, and reports. The OCC also sells the City Vehicle Stickers for approximately 1.3 million vehicles as well as residential zone parking permits, among other services.
