Clarity hosted members of the Cara team this week for a screening of Cara’s documentary.
“The Road Up” follows four Chicagoans on their journey from struggling with addiction, homelessness, and prison to independence with the help of the transformative program of Cara. It spans two years of the participants lives. The film debuted in 2021 as part of the Chicago Film Festival. You can see the entire film here.
Founded in 1991, Cara Collective‘s mission is to build an inclusive economy by developing employment pathways to advance transformative individual and community success. The collective is comprised of 4 programs, each of which help fuel a courageous national movement to eradicate relational and financial poverty.
