Chicago, IL – The Forest Preserve District of Cook County (FPDCC) has engaged Clarity Partners, LLC (Clarity) to implement and manage their eCommerce initiative for permit distribution. The eCommerce platform selected by the district is the ActiveNet Parks and Recreation Management System, available through Active Network Inc. Clarity’s role lies in the implementation strategy, project management, overall project planning, content migration, application testing, and system training. Clarity will also be providing FPDCC with the necessary resources to support an ongoing pursuit of additional functions, including program registration.
As a result of this project, FPDCC patrons will have access to browse an online catalog of Forest Preserve facilities as well as the ability to efficiently purchase picnic and event permits. The new functionality will also allow the FPDCC to offer further permit add-on items such as tents, speakers, and indoor room rentals.
