Clarity Partners attended the 13th annual Graduates’ Luncheon of the Mercy Home for Boys & Girls at the Hilton Chicago. Every year, the organization gathers noted community and business leaders to honor the accomplishments of Mercy Home graduates. The event helps raise critical funds to support the academic program, which boasts a 100% graduation rate.
The luncheon featured student speakers sharing their story of struggle and success. The keynote address was given by Entrepreneur, Author, Philanthropist, and CEO of HAPPYNESS Chris Gardner. Gardner, made widely recognized by the acclaimed movie “The Pursuit of Happyness,” made an effort to celebrate Mercy Home students while reminding them to stick to their dreams. He repeatedly emphasized that “Plan B sucks.”
Mercy Home for Boys & Girls provides struggling youth support and guidance with shelter, mentoring as well as academic and training programs. Clarity Partners is proud to support their mission with ecommerce development and web design.
