The Cook County Offices Under the President (OUTP) and Board of Review (BOR) engaged Clarity Partners to implement a new website on Drupal, an open source Content Management System (CMS), that is hosted on the Amazon GovCloud. Clarity will redesign the look and feel of the site and develop a unified content strategy across all OUTP and BOR communications channels, which will include tracking statistics, governance, and branding consistency.
After launching the website, all Cook County agencies will maintain a common platform, design, navigation structure, and style to deliver a cohesive look while maintaining uniqueness to each site with targeted content and graphical elements. The sites will be responsive, i.e. automatically formatted for any connected device. Furthermore, County staff will be able to easily update content when necessary to provide the public with up-to-date information.
To initiate the project, Clarity conducted a Usability Study with the help of Smart Chicago and the Chicago Community Trust. Clarity submitted several website layouts (i.e. wireframes) for the new OUTP and BOR websites and asked for feedback from Chicago residents, which will be incorporated during the design process.
