Clarity Partners’ web team has been recognized by the Web Marketing Association in this year’s MobileWebAwards for their outstanding work on two projects launched in 2021.
The Winning Projects
Project Rainbow, a Cook County Initiative – Best Education Mobile Application
Project Rainbow is a new initiative that Cook County has launched to address learning loss magnified by COVID-19 with creation of free early childhood and family programming through the County TV station and a new mobile app. Through this initiative, Cook County and its Project Rainbow partners will produce new video content, or repurpose existing informative and educational content, to be used by children and families. To broaden the scope of the initiative’s possibilities, future Cook County initiatives and programming involving children, families, or the arts will now be recognized by the County as Project Rainbow initiatives.
Metra Rail, Website Redesign, Accessibility Improvements – Best Transportation Mobile Website
The new Metra site is considered the first step in a transformation in how Metra will communicate with users. The design is clean and simple, with an effort to improve the experience for mobile users (who represent two-thirds of visitors) and, more importantly, customers with visual disabilities. The site is in Level AAA compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
