Revenue Solutions, Inc. (RSI) partnered up with Clarity Partners to improve tax processing and collections for Cook County with the implementation of a full suite of commercial-off-the-shelf software. The proposed solution will include a fully integrated accounting system, comprehensive case management and workflow management, as well as a comprehensive registration system and an integrated correspondence and tracking system, among other valuable features.
Clarity Partners was engaged to develop the interface and covert data for the project. Clarity’s consultants are furthermore serving as business analysts and project coordinators along with RSI’s team to keep the project on track and reengineer business processes so the Cook County Department of Revenue (DOR) staff can maximize the capabilities of the new system.
DOR collects and processes over $425 million every year through a centralized office that collects, administers, and enforces efforts previously held by other offices. The new solution will increase DOR’s efficiency and create convenient ways for the public to file online tax returns, register, pay taxes, and maintain their accounts to ensure accuracy.
