The Northbrook Park District (the District) selected Clarity Partners to re-platform, improve and modernize their current website. The District provides a wide variety of programming and events for the 33,000+ residents of Northbrook, Illinois and maintains a large number of public spaces. Clarity will work in collaboration with the District’s marketing, communications, and technical professionals to understand the full scope of their needs and develop a responsive website that enhances the user experience for residents on the front-end and improves administration for employees on the back-end.
Clarity has proposed to implement the new site on the powerful WordPress Content Management System (CMS), the most popular open source application framework in the world (used by 25% of all websites). Additionally, Clarity has recommended hosting the new site on WPEngine, an industry-leader in WordPress hosting services.
With extensive experience creating local government website solutions, the new Clarity-built Northbrook Park District website will feature cleaner navigation, powerful site search, and a more organized information structure to help site visitors find relevant information faster and more easily. Similar to previous park district sites that Clarity has completed, the District team is looking to implement interactive maps and registration integration features as well.

The Northbrook Park District maintains 22 parks, comprised of community parks, neighborhood parks, play lots, and passive parks. The Park District provides a full range of indoor and outdoor activities. Major recreation programs include ice skating, visual arts, music, performing arts, preschool, summer camps, child care before and after school, aquatics, and athletics. Special events include Winter Carnival, Park Fest (Tuesday night concerts in the park), Touch-A-Truck, Northbrook Autumnfest, Northbrook-On-lce and other seasonal events.
