The International Awards Associates (IAA) released their list of winners for the 2022 Season 1 MUSE Creative Awards last week and Clarity received accolades for four website projects! This prestigious awards competition was created by IAA in 2015 to answer a need for nurturing and promoting the designing “muses” that push the evolution of design to the next level.
The Gold Winners
Chelsea Lighting, a nationwide leader in lighting and controls technologies distribution, recently worked with Clarity to complete an entire website redesign. The updated design provides a stronger public facing presentation of the company as well as a foundation for future enhancements.
Project Rainbow is a Cook County initiative that seeks to address learning loss magnified by COVID-19 by curating and creating free early childhood and family oriented educational programming and through the development of Cook County’s first-ever mobile app. Clarity was chosen to build the Project Rainbow website, which was honored by MUSE, and the mobile app will launch later this year.
The Silver Winners
The University of Chicago Gagliardi Group is a research group with graduate and postdoctoral research fellows engaged in molecular chemistry and engineering. The Group chose Clarity to overhaul its website, including user interface and user experience. New layout, navigation, and images were part of this project in order to convey an appealing visual representation of the Group to the wider public. This was a major design and branding effort that also included logo development, a new set of icons, and consistent branding along with resultant brand guidelines.
Clarity recently completed and launched a necessary re-platform of the Cook County Government website, upgrading it to Drupal 9. Clarity partnered with Acquia to facilitate a migration to their cloud hosting services, enabling the use of an infrastructure and content toolset that modernizes the County’s web services landscape. Upgrading from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9 required a full rebuild of the website. This gave Clarity an opportunity to address the County’s list of pain points as part of our version upgrade.
