The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) recently launched their beWell website, a comprehensive health, education and career resource for HACC families and low-income residents of the Cook County suburbs. Clarity Partners worked closely with HACC to design and develop this website on the WordPress content management system (CMS).
In support of the HACC’S beWell initiative, the website seeks to provide a route for families to “Work, Earn, Live and Learn” by connecting them to various tools and information. Through a collaborative process, the HACC and Clarity project team created a central, well-structured and easily navigated online source for residents of all ages.
With the new site, users can find a wide variety of information including job opportunities, free medical checkups, resume building tools, training workshops, afterschool programs, college planning, credit score and financial planning, legal aid and more. Additionally, HACC website administrators can efficiently create and edit content with the highly flexible CMS.
The HACC’s beWell program is driven by its mission to make lives better and provide a link to opportunities that will empower residents to accomplish their goals.
