Earlier this month, Clarity hosted a ‘Lunch & Learn’ to teach fellow employees about one of our current engagements, working with Chicago Public Schools’ Building Automation System (CPS BAS).
A BAS is an automatic, centralized control of a building’s HVAC, electrical, lighting, shading, Access Control, Security Systems, and other interrelated systems. The CPS BAS services 830 facilities in the area, 570 of which are schools.
The Clarity team is in a project management role, collaborating with both the Facilities and Information & Technology Services departments. Our guidance helps support the maintenance and upgrades of various CPS systems that control the heating and cooling of buildings within the existing network. We facilitate each stage of this intricate process, engaging with a multitude of different companies during various stages to ensure desired and timely results.
