Gemará Williams
Gemará Williams is a partner at Clarity Partners, where he handles client relationships, business development and service delivery. Gemará has over 15 years of experience managing a wide range of clients in the private and public sectors with a portfolio that includes government organizations like Cook County Health, Chicago Public Schools and the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Prior to joining Clarity, Gemará was a senior client engagement executive at RL Canning where he successfully managed over 130 employees at large government entities and Fortune 500 clients. He was also responsible for identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities, RFP development, coordinating activities and interface with service management and procurement to ensure contractual agreements and compliance obligations were met, and building vendor relationships.
Gemará graduated from the University at Buffalo with a B.S. of science and earned his MBA while playing professional football. A former cornerback for the New England Patriots, he is the vice president of National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) Chicago Chapter, Board member and Chair of the Corporate Advisory Committee for the National Forum of Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) Chicago, and a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
Gemará enjoys exercising, traveling, telling jokes and spending time with his family.
